Day 1
VICTORIA FALLS: ZAMBIA

On arrival at Livingstone Airport a Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.
Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma is named after David Livingstone’s faithful companions and consist of an intimate lodge and two exclusive houses, both of which are situated to make the most of the amazing views that the sweeping Zambezi River provides. The central lodge building features a raised bar/lounge with deck, downstairs open-air dining area, swimming pool and a separate treatment room.

The twelve air-conditioned tree houses are connected by wooden walkways and all enjoy superb views over the river. In addition, there are two private houses available. Each has two bedrooms, a dining area and deck with plunge pools, as well as a private chef and house staff.The lodge is an exclusive haven in the heart of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park which, in addition to the mighty roar of the Victoria Falls, also boasts a wide variety of game as well as countless opportunities for adventure.

The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy some of the many activities on offer (e.g. sundowner cruises, fishing, Rhino walk and game drives in the Mosi-oa Tunya National Park).

Day 2
VICTORIA FALLS: ZAMBIA

The day is at leisure to enjoy some of the many activities on offer.

These include a Tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi, canoeing, walking safaris, game drives in the National Park and a local school and village Tour and fishing.

Livingstone is also known as the adventure capital of Africa offering a variety of adrenalin activities. There are additional activities on offer (at an extra cost) which guests can book.

Imagine taking on the mighty Zambezi River on a white-water rafting trip. The rapids on the Zambezi are officially defined as “Grade 5.”  The Flight of Angels offers an amazing opportunity to experience a flight in a helicopter and an unrivalled and superior view of the Victoria Falls.

Other adventure activities include bungee jumping, micro lighting over the Victoria Falls, a Livingstone Island visit and swimming at Devil’s Pool. Guests can also visit the Falls on the Zimbabwe side. These activities are an optional extra and can be booked at the lodge. Guests staying at Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma are able to indulge in a range of spa treatments – including massages, facials and manicures – while enjoying spectacular views over the Zambezi River (additional cost.)

Day 3
CHOBE RIVER: BOTSWANA

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast.  A camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip. Depart on a Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Chief’s Camp. The flying time to Sanctuary Chief’s is approximately 15 minutes. On arrival at the airstrip a representative will meet and transfer you to Sanctuary Chief’s Camp. Sanctuary Chief’s Camp is a luxury bush camp situated on Chief’s Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve. This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered to have the finest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five.Guest accommodation comprises of twelve secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions. The afternoon is at leisure. Activities available include game drives and seasonal mokoro excursions (subject to water levels).

Day 4
CHOBE RIVER: BOTSWANA

Upstream of the iconic Victoria Falls, on the banks of the Zambezi River, lies Old Drift Lodge. The lodge boasts luxury accommodation overlooking the pristine Zambezi National Park, a mere 7 kilometers from the mighty Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Old Drift Lodge is nestled within a wild paradise frequented by elephant, buffalo, herds of sable, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and impala.

Day 5
OKAVANGO DELTA: BOTSWANA

After breakfast, please meet the lodge representative in the reception area of the lodge for your transfers to Kasane Airport. Your transfer times will be advised to you by the lodge managers. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.

On arrival at the Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp airstrip, a representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 50 minutes.
Sanctuary Stanley’s is situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest accommodation consists of eight classic styled safari tents. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities.

A completely unique Stanley’s feature is an educational experience with a group of semi-habituated African elephants and a highly recommended activity at an additional cost. Other activities available include serene mokoro canoe excursions(subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4 x 4 vehicles – including the rare opportunity of night drives.

Day 5-7
OKAVANGO DELTA: BOTSWANA

The day is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer.

Your morning could be spent with three orphaned elephants who have been brought up in the area and are used to being with humans from an early age.
Every morning the elephants go for a walk around their home range, foraging for food and checking that all is well. A few people each day are able to accompany them on their walk through the bush and see the wilds of Africa through the eyes of an elephant – a truly uplifting experience that makes a lasting impression on all who share their time with the elephants (Activity is at an additional cost.)

Other activities available include serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4 x 4 vehicles – including the rare opportunity of night drives. As Stanley’s Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide.

Day 8
DEPARTURE

Enjoy breakfast and then a morning game viewing activity.
A camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip for your Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Maun Airport. Transfer time is approximately 15 minutes. Your transfer times will be advised to you by the lodge managers.
