From Maun airport you will fly in the Khwai Community area where you will be transfeRred to the lodge Khwai Bush Camp, on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, is nestled amongst a forest of sycamore and leadwood trees. We will leave camp at first light to enjoy a morning activity and return in time for brunch.
Should you wish to just relax and take it easy the top deck is the perfect place to do this during the dat. With several sun loungers and a mixture of shade and sun its the perfect place to relax with good book and watch the world go by.
We will head out again for an afternoon activity returning after sunset. Return to the lodge in time for a delicious dinner under the African skies.
After your morning activities enjoy a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta to the Maun before your road transfer to Nxai Pans National park – your home for the next few nights!
Migrations Expeditions, a semi-mobile seasonal camp has just six tents set on low decks enjoying the expanse of the Nxai pan area and the perfect spot to enjoy the zebra migration as tens of thousands of zebra arrive with the promise of new vegetation. With the new rains, many of the roads become inaccessible but the water wonderland that is experienced from the air is phenomenal. Waves of vibrant pink flamingos return to the drenched pan. Day trips to the 1,000-year-old cluster of trees known as Baines Baobabs form part of the exciting activities on offer.
