Amazing trip! OMG, Ale planned and set up an amazing 11 day, 4 camp safari trek for us (6 people in total) spanning Botswana and Zambia (and a brief stint into Zimbabwe). Every camp was more incredible than the last. every air/ground transfer was perfect and went off without a single issue. Just an absolute amazing trip. We will most definitely being going back to Africa and we will be planning it with Wandering Thru.

Unforgettable four days Unforgettable, wonderful trip. Definitely go with Wanderingthru! Just by chance and good luck I was able to join the trip to Laikipia, Kenya, to look for the black leopardess. And what an experience it has been! With passion, knowledge, perseverance and love for all creatures, especially leopards, our guide found her time and again, giving us memorable sightings and photo opportunities. Laikipia is also known for Grevy zebras and wild dogs.

Booked and planned our dream trip, first time safari in Africa We booked an 8 day, 7 night safari in South Africa with Wandering Thru with stays spread out across two lodges.This was our first time going to Africa, and on a safari so we really didn't know where to start or how to book.They were incredibly responsive, found us some lovely options to choose from, were very flexible with changes and our asks in selecting the 2 lodges we landed on as well as dates, and arranged for all transfers between airports and between the lodges for us.Payment was easy to process, and they were in constant communication with us throughout the process.Made it super easy, and designed the trip of our lifetime for us! Thank you so much Ale!!!! Would recommend to anyone looking to do a safari for a first time or not! We will return.

Wandering Thru planned an amazing African Adventure I am usually an independent solo traveler, but the sheer number of choices – of locations and lodging – for an African safari was overwhelming even for me. For my first trip to Africa, I decided to take advantage of some local knowledge and expert guides to help me choose and plan the adventure. After a simple email message, the team at Wandering Thru put together a few options from which to choose and, after I chose the itinerary, they made all the arrangements, taking care of logistics in South Africa and Botswana. All I had to do is book my international and regional flights, let Wandering Thru know my arrival/departure times, and look forward to the experience. The journey was so amazing – relaxing yet exciting – that my first thought upon my return home was “I’m ready to go again.” For part of my trip, I joined a preplanned privately guided safari with Tristan Dicks. The idea of a trip with Tristan or one of the other Wandering Thru private guides is what really convinced me to finally fulfill this bucket list experience. Check out Safari Live episodes from 2018 and 2019 on YouTube for examples of their guiding expertise. The time spent in the Sabi Sand Reserve was special not just for the intimacy of the wildlife sightings but also the time spent with a small group of wonderful safari goers and guides.Since the long journey to Africa would hardly have been worth it for just a few days, I decided to add on a couple of other locations in Botswana – near Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta. Even though these were not part of a planned Wandering Thru trip, the team at Wandering Thru made all the arrangements, from picking the lodges, suggesting the amount of time to spend at each, and coordinating all the logistics. The lodges, landscapes and wildlife sightings were all amazing.I will definitely use Wandering Thru again for my next trip to Africa.

Again, they went above and beyond our expectations and always add a personal touch to your safari. At the last minute, we decided to extend our trip to Cape Town, South Africa. WanderingThru was very obliging and set up the entire extension from hotel, excursions and transportation. They are very knowledgeable in the Travel planning field and even more so when it comes to Safaris. Family celebration in the bush Wow! What a celebration! Our recent trip to Chitwa Chitwa with Wandering Thru was an unforgettable experience. Marking a special family occasion, the team went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in the bush. With Tristan as our private guide, we set out on each drive with high hopes and expectations. We were not disappointed! Whether it was sitting enjoying dwarf mongooses basking in the sun, green pigeons catching the morning light, sleepy leopards in trees, buffalos, ellies, so many hyenas or wild dogs charging through the bush, each drive had its own highlights. The sights and sounds of the bush came alive as Tristan generously shared his knowledge and experience with us. How awesome to see deeper or newfound appreciation of the bush develop amongst us. Back at the lodge we shared great hospitality, with special extras arranged to mark our celebration. Not forgetting all the laughs, chatting about leopards, conservation, photography tips and more. Thanks for making this occasion so memorable, and for making it possible for us to celebrate together in this wonderful location.

Making dreams come true! I could not have asked for a more amazing experience than I have had with WanderingThru. I originally booked the holiday 2 years ago but because of COVID I had to postpone due to travel restrictions. Ale was so understanding and helpful in getting me booked onto a later trip. Unfortunately due to something beyond everyone's control this also had to be rearranged. Ale regularly kept me fully up to date with what was happening which was very reassuring under the circumstances. She is so friendly and always responds to emails quickly should you have any questions or concerns. In fact we've emailed each other so much over the last 2 years, she feels like a pen pal 😅 This is the first time I have travelled alone and yet I always felt safe in the knowledge that everything was well planned. Going on safari has been a dream of mine since I was a child and WanderingThru managed to not only make this a reality, but to exceed all the expectations I had! The lodge I stayed at was outstanding and having Tristan, with all of his knowledge and experience, as our guide meant that among other sightings we managed to see 6 different leopards and a pangolin in 4 days! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always more than happy to adapt each drive depending on everyone's requests that day, including helping me record the night-time cricket sounds during a sundowner stop. He also spent time showing me the best settings for my camera and giving me advice on how to improve my composition, which made a massive difference to the photos I took. The last day of the trip was my birthday and if it wasn't special enough to be spending it in Sabi Sand, I was presented with a birthday cake with a handmade WanderingThru safari decoration on top 🥰 I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you arrange your travel plans with WanderingThru, I know I won't be using anyone else, in fact I'm already planning for 2024!

Exceeded my expectations! I recently returned from an African safari with my two daughters. I have always done my own planning & researching, but this was a huge endeavor, so I turned to the experts to help insure that the money I spent would be worth my while. I can say unequivocally that using Wandering Thru was the best possible move I could have made. The staff are so knowledgeable about the different parts of Africa & are so well connected with the best camps/lodges. They are extremely professional & focus on insuring that their guests have a relaxed & stress-free time. Ale, Tristan & Tayla are all highly qualified guides and will enrich your adventures at each location you visit. Their knowledge about the flora & fauna, wildlife photography, & the various ecosystems across the African continent add so much to the enjoyment of exploring new places & making dreams come true. Right from the start, I knew that planning the trip with Tayla would insure that my safari objectives would be met, and I will tell you that they were exceeded, not just because of the wildlife we saw (which was plentiful)! It's rare to be able to exceed expectations in the service industry, but Tayla, Ale and the staff at Wandering Thru always kept me in the loop regarding issues with trip logistics, the impact of COVID on travel within Africa, and what to expect when we got there. There were no surprises, and when problems arose, they communicated with me and took care of things as needed. I WILL use them again someday!

Wonderful WanderingThru #WanderingThru make it so easy to arrange an unforgetable safari. I just asked them for advice via email, got an immediate reply with a wonderful itinery, booked and paid - everything done online. Ale & Astrida were wonderful, professional, competent, rapid and can handle anything - even me having to temporarily postpone my trip due to Covid restrictions. Ale also went out of her way to help me get to a location that was very dear to me. All my trip went like clockwork, and would definitely not hesitate to organize another safari with them. Actually, I am already thinking of going back next year.
