Whether your kids are 5 or 15, this is the holiday they talk about for years to come. Sailing the Cape Town coast in a pirate boat and swimming with the penguins; seeing their first leopard in real life on Marataba safari and tracking animals in the bush; getting to say they’ve been to one of the Seven Natural Wonder at Victoria Falls; meeting new and interesting people and discovering different ways of life along the way… It’s an all-round itinerary that’ll introduce them to a whole new world – and make theirs much larger. Between all the adventures, we’ve also worked in time out for you to just relax, because that’s also what vacations are all about.

Get Started
Start your safari by settling in at the Mother City: Cape Town. Transfer from Cape Town Airport and check-in to Cape Cadogan for a 4-night stay.
Your time in Cape Town is spent at leisure, exploring the city and surrounding areas at your own pace. You can asks us about adding guided visit of the Cape Peninsula and the Cape of Good Hope, a day tour to Mandela’s Prison in Robben Island, or a day spent exploring the winelands around Cape Town
Fly to Marataba, for a safari that promises you’ll see it all. Get closer to nature without having to rough it. ‘Down to earth’ though is anything but basic, with a king-sized bed (triple-room configuration on request), dressing room, en-suite and outdoor shower, and furnished viewing deck. The lodge welcomes guests of all ages, with specially-planned children’s activities and a child-minding service. A shared pool is located next to the main lodge area.
Just some of the fun includes: family game drives; bush orientation; bug CSI; dung tracking; slingshot and air rifle target shooting; arts and crafts, e.g. beading; pizza making in the boma; cookie baking and cupcake decorating in the kitchen; and evening games. Parents are welcome to join in, or sneak a few hours for themselves
Fly to Victoria Falls and stay at Livingstone & Stanley on the Zimbabwean side of the falls for a 2 night stay.
From here you will be able to explore the town and this UNESCO world heritage site known in the local language as “Mosi O Tunya” (The Smoke that thunders).
