Day 1

Aboard your flight from Lanseria airport in Johannesburg towards Singita Sabi Sand. Upon arrival at the airstrip you will head to the lodge with your guide.

Boulders Lodge has a contemporary air of tranquillity that honours Africa in an authentic way. Inspiring the name Boulders was an enormous boulder that sat right in the middle of the place where the wine cellar was to be built. A simple decision was made to build the cellar around the boulder!

Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge, and the lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe wildlife drawn to the Sand River. The quiet pond alongside the thatched lounge area allows the light and the landscape inside to the wide open spaces, where straw baskets, neutral shades and textured fabrics complement wooden furniture.

Check in and settle before heading out on your first safari

Day 2-4

Tailor-made safaris days are as action-packed or as gentle as you chose them to be. Daily game drives with professional guides and trackers provide the perfect opportunity to get close to Africa’s incredible animals. The afternoon drives conclude with a spot-lit evening return to reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal wildlife. Enjoy swimming, board games, stargazing with telescopes
For the adventurous, there are walking safaris (for guests 16 and older).

Day 5

On this day you bid farewell to Singita and its uniqueness and head back to Johannesburg via charter flight for your onward journey
