Airport assistance at Maya Maya Airport (Brazzaville)
Congo Conservation Company’s scheduled flight: departs Brazzaville at 1pm, arrives Odzala at 3pm (2 hours), landing at Mboko you will head on a road transfer from airstrip to Ngaga Camp (3-hour drive through the Odzala-Kokoua National Park)
After check in you will meet the gorilla research team followed by dinner
Overnight Ngaga Camp in an en-suite forest chalet
Gorilla tracking in the morning with a guide and tracker from the Odzala team who will guide you through this experience. in the afternoon relaxation followed by a forest walk for bird watching and discovery of forest life and river sundowners on your first full day at the camp.
On your second morning at the camp you will head for the second Gorilla experience at Ngaga Camp, and in the afternoon you will spend time with your tracker from the gorilla research team and learn more about your observations
You can then choose to enjoy an afternoon forest walk, or relax in camp. After dinner you can head out on foot for a night walk to view nocturnal forest life

Onward to Lango Camp and Baï via a kayak journey on the Lekoli River
Have a relaxed afternoon in camp, or venture out on a discovery baï walk (wet), followed by sundowners

Guided morning discovery walk through the baï (prepare to get a bit muddy and wet)
Lunch followed by followed by walks in the forest (dry) or baï (wet), or relax on the deck and enjoy some bird watching

A short road transfer take you to the boats where a 4 to 6-hour boat journey up the Sangha River begins through the Sangha Tri-National Special Reserve (clear customs en-route)
Arrive at Sangha Lodge and meet the Cassidys, your hosts and the family responsible for this experience overlooking the Sangha River, for a relaxed afternoon in camp

Early breakfast at the lodge before a road transfer (±1.5 hours) and forest walk (2 km) to Dzanga Baï
Spend the day on the research platform at Dzanga observing the diverse wildlife activity around this remote baï – the best Forest Elephant experience in Africa!
After an exceptional day, follow the same route out with a forest walk and road transfer back to the lodge
Spend the night in a comfortable chalet at Sangha Lodge
Guided morning forest walk and net hunting with members of the Ba’Aka community, with time to work on the building of huts or learning about medicinal plants
After lunch, spend time with the pangolin researchers for the Sangha Pangolin Project
Sundowners and dinner are followed by a night walk to explore the wonderful nocturnal life

Jump on a boat for a transfer (15 mins) to the forest walk in the Valley of the Giants – spend the morning walking amongst some of the tallest trees in the Congo Basin (packed lunch)
Do an afternoon hike to the waterfalls via a short boat transfer, or return to camp for lunch and enjoy a guided forest walk during the afternoon

Early morning breakfast and a 4 to 6-hour boat journey downstream the Sangha River, via Bayanga, to Kabo Airstrip in Republic of the Congo (clearing customs en-route)
