DAY

01

CAPE TOWN: Victoria & Alfred Hotel

You will be transferred from Cape Town Airport to Victoria & Alfred Hotel, Located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

From here you will explore the Cape Peninsula and Mother City for the next 3 nights.

DAY

02

CAPE PENINSULA TOUR

Start your day by traveling to the only place in the world where you can get this close to the African Penguin. The elevated boardwalks of Boulders Beach wind their way through the dunes and vegetation and not only provide great viewing spots, but also protects nesting penguins and their chicks. The opposite side of the beach allows us to climb over and under boulders to get even closer bit only to observe and not disturb.

Head to Cape Point National Park in order to reach The Cape of Good Hope is situated at the junction of the warmer Agulhas current and colder Benguela current, as a result the marine life found west and east of each side of Cape Point differs vastly. Visit the Cape of Good Hope and the lighthouses of Cape Point.

We have 3 options for lunch and the choice is entirely yours (lunch for own account) and can be tailored made on the day depending on your cravings.

Drive back enjoy the spectacular vistas of Chapman’s Paak – arguably the most scenic road in the world

03

WINELANDS DAY TOUR

Your first stop is on the Eastern side of Stellenbosch at the picturesque Keermont Vineyards. This is a special location tucked away in the most northern corner of Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). Pockets of special vines produce at one of the highest sites in the area produce a superlative, memorable and generous first tasting setting the benchmark for what’s to come.

Then we head to the Oldenburg Mountain Vineyards: These breath-taking views set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Stop for lunch at one of 4 different destinations depending on availability, weather conditions and of course your preferences (lunch for own account).

We then head Mitres Edge Vineyards where the wines are paired with a selection of local and delicious cheeses to make for a memorable experience at the end of your day.

06

CAPE TOWN

Enjoy spending your last day in Cape Tow at your own leisure. We find that meandering through the streets of Cape Town or enjoying a walk down the V&A Waterfront is a relaxing experience to end your adventure.

On this day you can decided whether you’d like to take advantage of the weather and head for lunch in Camps Bay or if you’d rather make your way up to the summit of Table Mountain with the cable car.

Optional is as well a half day tour to the Robben Island Museum, Mandela’s prison for over 27 years. Tours have to be prebooked in advance.

After a leisurely day enjoy dinner at one of the excellent restaurants the V&A Waterfront has to offer.

05-06

TRAVEL: THORNYBUSH GAME LODGE

Fly from Cape Town Airport to the Greater Kruger area and take a short road transfer to Thornybush Game Lodges.

Spend 4 nights in a luxury suite on a fully inclusive basis enjoying twice daily safaris. On your last day you will transfer from the Sabi Sand to Kruger Airport.

06-07

TRAVEL: THORNYBUSH GAME LODGE

Early morning wake-up call by one of our guides, coffee, tea & rusks are served in the main lodge overlooking the riverbed.

Shortly after, you will depart in your open game vehicle with your experienced Guides and Trackers who will share their extensive knowledge of the bush with you.

Arriving back at camp, it’s time for a sumptuous breakfast. This is your time to unwind or if you’re feeling up to it, you can walk off your breakfast with a bush walk with one of our guides

The rest of the day is spent at your discretion for other activities that we offer, with a delicious lunch being served around 1.30 pm, feel free to laze by the pool or enquire about one of our wellness experiences to fully ease you into relaxation

The afternoon game drive is preceded by high tea and extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight.

As you return to camp after an exhilarating day, you’ll be ushered to your dinner table and presented with a gourmet 3-course dinner

DEPARTURE

After your morning safari you will depart Thornybush you will big farewell to your safari adventure.
